 Background Information

He was born in Braintree,Massachusetts.He lived on 133 Franklin Street.He had 5 children and had Abigal Adams as a wife.They were married for 54 years.He went to collage at Harvard. After college he became a lawyer.He was also a farmer, teacher, he wrote an autobiography,and was a president. 

Role in the American Revolution

 John Adams fought for our freedom in many ways. He wrote politcal essays, impassioned speeches, legislative proposals,contributions to many of Americans founding documents, and signed the Declaration of Independence.

1774-John served as a member for the Continental Congress.

1787-He graduated from Harvard.

1815-John wrote a letter to Thomas Jefferson.

1848-John died Feburary 23.

He was personally involved during the revolution because he helped end the war by ending the Treaty of Paris with France. 

The Importance of this Patriot

Every fifth grader should learn about John Adams because he did many things he fought in the Revolutionary

 War, he was the second president,  he wrote a autobiography, and also was a lawyer.
